Mental Health First Aid Training for Adults who Interact with Youth is an evidence-based program of the Mental Health Commission of Canada aiming to improve mental health literacy and to provide the skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in youth ages 12 to 24. Offered by Arpeggio Health Services, the 2- day training is intended to assist health providers, education professionals, parents and other adults in the identification of mental health problems and appropriate first aid intervention strategies. Specific topics include depression, anxiety, substance related issues, eating disorders, deliberate self-injury and more.
